League Clubs throughout the Country are again playing a match for the benefit of the Football League Jubilee Trust. A souvenir match programme was issued which followed the same format for the Jubille games taking part at the begining of last season.

Additional programme content included the results from the previous 1938-39 season, and fixtures for the 1939-40 Jubilee Fund campaign.

The West Ham United first string entertained Fulham at Upton Park, whilst Craven Cottage was the venue for the meeting between the two clubs Reserve elevens. The two gate monies are then pooled and the gross proceeds devoted to the Fund.
